Tissint martian meteorite

The Tissint martian meteorite is a Martian, olivine-phyric shergottite. History: The 18th july 2011, a bright fireball was observed in the region of the Oued Drâa valley (east of Tata, Morocco) by several people at about 2 am local time (H. Chennaoui Aoudjehane and A. Aaronson) Later in October 2011, nomads began to find several fusion-crusted stones, the largest stone weighing 987 g, with a total weight of around 7 kg.
