The Tissint martian meteorite fell the 18th july 2011. A bright fireball was reported to be observed in the region of the Oued Drâa valley by local peoples around 2 am local time (H. Chennaoui Aoudjehane and A. Aaronson)
Few months Later in October 2011, nomads began to find several stones with fresh fusion crust, with a total weight of around 7 kg including a 987g stone.
