Please note the dark areas you can see in each picture is caused by my reflection. The miror polished surface, making it almost impossible to photograph without reflections.

The first two Seymchan pallasites were discovered in 1967. During recent expeditions more seymchan pallasites were discovered some containing translucent olivine.

Seymchan is one of the very few stable pallasites with translucent olivine crystals and medium Widmanstatten patterns when etched.
